We are pleased to announce the 5th edition of the BeNe Brain Stimulation Conference, taking place in the vibrant city of Leuven.

The conference will be held at the Kinepolis Leuven, located in the heart of the city.​

Accomodation

Rooms are available at Novotel Leuven for a discounted price of €129 per night (25-27 November) including breakfast, excluding city tax.

Registration

Early bird rates (available until August 31, 2026):

  • rTMS technician / early career researcher: €200

  • Professionals: €300

  • Conference dinner: €65 (limited availability)

Students: e.g. university students, PhD students, residents.

Early career researchers: e.g. <5 years since obtaining PhD or Psychology degree

Professionals: e.g. medical doctors, ≥5 years since obtaining PhD or Psychology degree, industry

Abstract submission

Abstracts can be submitted for symposia, oral presentations, and poster presentations. All abstracts need to be in English and structured: background, methods, results, discussion/conclusion. Maximum number of words is 250 per abstract.

 

A symposium consists of 4 speakers and 1 chair. The chair can also be one of the speakers. The duration of one symposium will be 90 minutes. Oral presentations will be 15-20 minutes. On a competitive basis, symposia and abstracts will be selected. The merit of the scientific work will be taken into account.

We encourage submissions on all brain stimulation modalities, including but not limited to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial electrical stimulation (TES), Focused UltraSound (FUS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and Gamma ENtrainment Using Sensory stimuli (GENUS). Additionally, we encourage discussions surrounding treatment modalities for psychiatric disorders but also neurodegenerative diseases and other neurological conditions. We welcome submissions encompassing both fundamental and clinical research.
