International Clinical TMS Certification Course

The Academy of Brain Stimulation offers the certified and accredited International Clinical TMS Certification Course. This 3-day academic course is taught by internationally renowned experts in the field of non-invasive brain stimulation from various prestigious academic and clinical institutes.
​
The International Clinical TMS Certification Course is among the most established and best evaluated in the world. It is also one of the few to provide CME credits. Participants will receive a balanced mix of academic lectures and intensive hands-on sessions. This course also offers an incredible service of providing you with the latest overview of effective TMS protocols and the most recent developments for optimizing clinical efficacy and increasing cost effectiveness.

The interactive Q&A sessions, and the small group size during the intensive hands-on trainings enable each participant to offer TMS as a therapy to their patients. This intensive course also offers the unique opportunity to connect to both, the Academic and Clinical Experts teaching this course as well as other colleagues from all over the world, allowing you to become part of a professional network of TMS practitioners.

The International Clinical TMS Certification Course is offered at various attractive locations across the world and at different times throughout the year. And you can now also follow the course entirely online, with the same live and interactive lectures and live one-on-one supervised hands-on training, but without the need to travel to one of our course venues. Importantly, our online course is always 100% live with direct person to person interaction and the same level of accredited clinical certification as provided by our on-site courses.

For all our Clinical TMS Certification Courses (onsite and online) an application has been made to the EUROPEAN UNION OF MEDICAL SPECIALISTS (https://www.uems.eu) for accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).

Our International Clinical TMS Certification Courses are also officially recognized by the Dutch Brain Stimulation Foundation for TMS Certification, including accreditation as TMS professional as well as TMS technician.

Brainclinics TMS Certification Course & Masterclass

Join us for an exciting once yearly Brainclinics Foundation event, the TMS Masterclass & TMS Certification Course in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. On May 21-23 2024, we will take you from the basics of TMS and Brain Stimulation on day 1, to exciting new developments in the field of Brain Stimulation and TMS with world-renowned speakers on day 2 and 3. We’re excited to welcome a great line-up of keynote speakers who will share with you their latest insights and research, including Nolan Williams, Dirk de Ridder, Iris Dalhuisen, Jonathan Downar and Kristin Raj. Topics that will be covered are circuit-based and network brain stimulation, the SAINT/SNT TMS protocol, new clinical indications of TMS including OCD, alternative coil positions, accelerated TMS and iTBS, precision TMS, stratified psychiatry and TMS induced heart-brain coupling (HBC).

The full three days fulfil the required blueprint of the Dutch Hersenstimulatie Stichting for TMS Certification, and the 2 or 3 days qualify for continuing education credits for recertification. The masterclass (day 2 & 3) has been awarded 13 points and the certification course (all 3 days) 20 points. Accreditation for NVvP, FGzPt and Dutch Brainstimulation Foundation will be requested.

The early bird rate is valid until the 29th of February 2024.

Hands-on practice will be performed on MagVenture and Deymed hardware.

neurocare Academy: TMS-certificeringscursussen en hands-on (incompany)training
Al ruim 20 jaar vervult neurocare een pioniersrol op het gebied van onderzoek en behandeling met​ repetitieve Transcraniële Magnetische Stimulatie (rTMS). Hiervoor wordt nauw samen gewerkt met onderzoeksinstituut Brainclinics en wetenschappers verbonden aan verschillende toonaangevende universiteiten. Sinds 2007 biedt neurocare ook gecertificeerde scholing aan via haar eigen en internationaal erkende kennisplatform. Zo kunnen cursisten binnen de online leeromgeving van de neurocare Academy op elk gewenst moment aan de slag met een aanbod van geaccrediteerde cursussen gericht op de theoretische basis en klinische toepassing van non-invasieve hersensstimulatie. ​Als je zelf ook rTMS op een verantwoorde manier wilt gaan toepassen in de praktijk, kun je de hands-on certificeringstraining​(-en) ​en supervisie uren volgen waarna je als ​rTMS professional of technici​an aan de slag kunt. Tevens verzorgt neurocare incompany trainingen en begeleidt het vrijgevestigde praktijken en GGZ-instellingen bij de aanschaf en implementatie van rTMS-apparatuur.
